1. Maui Is a Demigod He has a magical Fish hook what allows him to shape shift.

2. He Pulled the North Island with a rod using the South Island as a Waka.

3. Maui's hook can break it has broke before by another god it is a lava monster.

He is in moana and has a hook he stole the heart and they had to face many fierce creatures and at the end he had to bring it back
