Hey Jaedun,
ReplyDeleteI'm Jade C and I will be reading and commenting on your blog this summer.
Today is the official start day of the Summer learning journey programme! It's super great to see your first S.L.J blog post!
First of all, thank you for sharing your special drawing of Moana and Maui on the waka! It's always nice to see something bright and colourful! I would love to see more of your artworks because I am also a visual learner and I love art!
I wonder if Maui can get a special hook that cannot be broken? He is the Demigod so he should be invincible! Don't you think so too? Maybe you could design and draw a special hook for Maui!
I also like the way you described and explained the geography of New Zealand linking to the Maui legend. Also it's amazing to see that you linked the text with your own personal experience (Moana movie), I would love to read more about you and your personal stories by linking it with the activities!
I can't wait to read and comment your next blog post! :)
All the best!
Jade C.

Congratulations on posting your first Summer Learning Journey blog post.I love that you have included a drawing of Maui’s hook! You have written some great facts. Did you know that the North Island is known as Te Ika a Maui, because it is the fish of Maui?
