Thoughts about Wringing a cloth in space

Hello readers today we watched a video of Chris Hadfield - Canadian Space Agency and he was wringing out water and the water was staying on the cloth and his hands - Watch the video to see it is real cool. - it was like he was under water. the water was staying on his hands because
 Water molecules arrange themselves into a weak pattern due to their charge distribution. But the point is they all attract each other. ... Instead, surface tension kept the water sticking to itself, or to Hadfield's hands. It forms a blob along the washcloth instead of dispersing
